Episode 3: Charlie Daniels ruins weekends

The photo above encapsulates just how close wecame to finanical reward last weekend. What a weekend it was. We had 7/8 bets come in correctly and with only the late kick off at Bournemouth v Everton in the FA Cup between us and a 144/1 accumulator we were half counting our first winnings of the FBC podcasts at only episode 2. But with the missed penalty from the Charlie ‘I hate the FBC’ Daniels went our chances of glory and to be honest it was never going to happen after that. A fantastic week nonetheless if you had backed our other tips though and surely a clean sweep is just around the corner.

Enjoy episode 3 and   All aboard the FBC money train!

Welcome to the first post and first podcast of our new show. The format for the show is simple. Discuss what went wrong (and sometimes well!) from last week. Then justify the rationale behind our two picks each for this week. We then put our picks together into an 8 game acca and then wait for the Saturday and Sunday results to come in along with our winnings. A word of warning although we ended last season in profit (honestly!) we haven’t actually landed one of these bets yet this season.. but this is all about to change!

Enjoy the show and feel free to follow us on our road to unimaginable wealth… or suffering! Somehow our chances of cash this week rest on the chances of goals in the Hertha Berlin v Stuttgart game and The top 4 in the prem and (after a late change)… Aberdeen.  so strap in for the weekend train to cashville!
